Alright, I’ve Got My Quote, Now Where Do I Put the Dumpster?
We take placement instructions from each of our customers. This helps our drivers figure out where to drop the bin in case the customer is not present at the delivery spot, as well as allowing us to place it in a spot that is most suitable for the customer’s project. In some cases, if a customer will absolutely be present for the delivery, we will allow them to direct the driver where to put the bin. For some, this is an easier arrangement than giving placement instructions over the phone.
General guidelines for placing a dumpster include making sure that the delivery area has a flat surface, preferably paved. Dirt or grass is generally unsuitable for placement as these surfaces can cause the dumpster to sink into the ground as it fills up. If your driveway is too short for a dumpster or simply cannot fit a dumpster, we can drop the bin on an adjacent street provided that a street permit is acquired by the customer.
